The tin community is a space created by people who love K-pop. We encourage everyone with diverse backgrounds to respect each other and enjoy using tin together. The guidelines apply to all users and content on tin. Additionally, your reports are important for keeping a safe community.
If you come across content that violates the community guidelines, please tap the 'Report' button located in the 'More' button of the content. If a violation is confirmed, the content will be removed, and the account that uploaded the content may be deactivated.
Copyrights
tin supports members in managing and protecting their creative works. If there's a report of copyright infringement in tin content, we follow a policy to take appropriate actions upon receiving reports. For more details on our copyright policy and infringement reporting procedure, please refer to this link. Additionally please do not share or provide ways to illegally download content from others, including website addresses.
Spam
You cannot repeatedly flood posts or comments, nor approach users for commercial purposes. Spam includes promotional or commercial content, content generated by automated programs, repetitive content that users don't want, and content that appears to encourage purchases.
Nude images or Sexual content.
On tin, posting explicit nudity, sexual content, or images depicting excessive nudity or sexual acts is not allowed. Do not post intimate images of individuals without their consent.
Hate Language
Do not post content or words that express hate. This includes content that promotes or expresses hatred towards specific individuals or groups based on factors like race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or other characteristics that can lead to discrimination or exclusion.
Harassment, Violence, Threats
Do not harass, threaten, or engage in any form of violence towards other users. It is not allowed to harass or threaten specific users, and exposing personal information that can be used for threats is also prohibited. Additionally, any form of harassment, especially in a sexual manner, or encouraging others to engage in such behavior, is included in this policy.
Violent Content
Do not post violent or cruel content that depicts real harm to people or animals with the intention to shock or be provocative. This includes images or descriptions of injuries, mutilation, or excessive violence. Also, do not encourage others to commit violent acts."
Impersonation and Misrepresentation of Identity
Do not pretend to be someone else or provide false information about yourself or any individual/organization. While you can use a nickname, you cannot post content that might confuse others about your real identity. This includes falsely representing individuals or organizations, providing misleading information about identity, qualifications, ownership, purposes, products, services, or business. Also, content or accounts that falsely claim ownership or conceal their main purpose are not allowed
Personal and Confidential Information
Do not save or share other people's private or secret information without permission. This includes sensitive details like ID numbers, bank or credit card information, signature images, and personal health records. We don't take special actions for information widely available on the internet or public records
Phishing
Do not use our service for phishing. This includes soliciting or collecting sensitive data such as passwords, financial details, and social security numbers.
Regulated Goods and Services
Do not sell, advertise, or facilitate the sale of regulated goods and services. Regulated goods and services include alcohol, gambling, pharmaceuticals, unapproved supplements, tobacco, fireworks, weapons, or health/medical devices.
Violent Organizations and Movements
Known non-state violent organizations and groups are not allowed to use our services for any purpose. Posting content that promotes or advertises activities of such organizations, including recruitment, coordination of online/offline activities, sharing harmful guidelines or other materials, promoting ideologies of non-state violent organizations, promote terrorist acts, inciting violence, or advocating for attacks by these organizations, is strictly prohibited. Depending on the content, tin may take actions against users.
Unauthorized Images of Minors
Do not store or distribute images of minors without explicit consent from the child's parent, guardian, or legal representative. If someone has stored or distributed an image of a minor without necessary consent, please report it to tin.
Enforcement of Community Guidelines on tin
If tin determines that a user has violated the Community Guidelines, appropriate actions will be taken based on the level of the violation.
- Deletion of the violating content, such as posts or comments, that infringe the guidelines.
- Deletion of the user's TIN account and feed.
- Reporting the user to law enforcement agencies.
If someone violates the guidelines really seriously, we might have to take action to keep the community safe. If your TIN activity is stopped, don't try to make a new account doing the same things. If we see multiple accounts violating the guidelines, we might have to do the things we talked about before. Unless we say otherwise, all the actions we take are permanent.
Content Reporting Process
You can report anything you think might violate the community guidelines by using the 'Report' button in the 'More' menu of posts and comments. When you report something, it doesn't get deleted automatically. tin checks the reported content to see if it goes against the community rules and takes action accordingly. If the content or user doesn't violate the community guidelines, no extra action is taken. If you have any questions about tin community guidelines, please submit a customer inquiry.
